Terms and conditions
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These terms govern the use of this site, which is informational: it says what Base.Golf does and which solutions it builds. Using it means accepting them.
1 Who we are
Base.Golf is an Argentine company that builds software for the technical work of golf, at the address given at the end of this page.
2 What this site is
It is the company's own page and the page for each of its solutions. All anyone can do here is read, write to the published addresses, and leave an email on a waiting list.
The site is not the application: the systems the company runs for a club live at their own addresses and carry their own terms.
3 Nothing published here is an offer
A solution's description says what it does, or what it is meant to do. It is not a contractual offer and commits to no price, no date and no availability; a product nobody can use yet is announced as such. Any of the solutions is contracted separately and in writing with the club, the association or the organization contracting it.
4 The waiting list
Leaving an address buys a message when there is something to report. It reserves no place, fixes no price, and creates no obligation on either side. Leaving the list takes the unsubscribe link in any of those messages, or an email.
5 Use of the site
Whoever visits the site agrees:
- Not to reach for non-public parts of the site, or the systems behind it, without authorization.
- Not to interfere with how it runs, or with the infrastructure serving it.
- Not to use the forms or the contact addresses for bulk or unsolicited mail.
- Not to submit another person's personal data without their consent.
6 Intellectual property
The text, the design, the images, the screenshots, the names and the software of Base.Golf belong to the company or to whoever licensed them to it, and the law protects them. Quoting the site and linking to it are fine; reproducing it, in whole or in part, needs permission first.
7 Third-party trademarks
The site names products, systems and rulebooks that are not Base.Golf's. They are named to say what the software works with and what is being talked about, not to suggest any connection with, sponsorship by or approval from their owners:
- USGA™ and Slope Rating™ are trademarks of the United States Golf Association. The words Course Rating appear here as the descriptive term for a course's rating, not as a mark. Base.Golf is not affiliated with the USGA™ and does not represent the USGA™ Course Rating System: a course's official rating is issued by the USGA™ together with the authorized association for that jurisdiction.
- iPhone™ is a trademark of Apple Inc.
- Android™ is a trademark of Google LLC.
- Excel™ is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.
- WhatsApp™ is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC.
- Google Analytics™ and EmailOctopus™ are trademarks of their owners. They are the two services the site hands data to, and what each of them does with it is in the Privacy policy.
The ™ symbol is used uniformly to mark a name as somebody else's: it neither asserts nor denies that the mark is registered in any given country. A mention that carries no symbol waives nobody's rights.
8 Links to other sites
The site links to pages it does not control. A link implies no endorsement, and what happens on the other side is not Base.Golf's responsibility.
9 Availability and accuracy
The site is published as it stands. The company takes care that what it says is true and corrects it on finding that it is not, but does not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or that its content is free of error. So far as the law allows, Base.Golf is not liable for damage arising from using the site or from being unable to use it.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights that Argentina's consumer protection law, Law 24.240, grants to anyone holding that status.
10 Personal data
What the site collects and what becomes of it is in the Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
11 Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date in the header changes, and the version in force is the one published on this page. Using the site afterwards means accepting them.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute goes to the ordinary courts of the Province of Buenos Aires, unless a rule of public policy assigns another forum.
