Privacy policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This policy says what the site collects, what it is used for, and how to ask for access to it or its deletion. It is short because the site collects little: an email address if somebody joins a waiting list, and aggregate browsing statistics.
1 What it covers
It covers this site: the company's pages and the pages for its solutions. The systems Base.Golf runs for a club live at their own addresses and are governed by the agreement signed with that institution, not by this document. Use of the site is also governed by the Terms and conditions.
2 Who is responsible
The data controller is Base.Golf, at the address given at the end of this page. Questions about personal data go to the same email address.
3 What is collected
- The email address typed into a waiting-list form. There is no field for a name, a phone number or a club.
- Whatever an email or a WhatsApp™ message sent to the addresses published on the site contains.
- Aggregate browsing statistics: pages viewed, approximate country, kind of device, and where the visit came from.
The site asks for no registration, has no user accounts, and processes no payments.
4 What it is used for
- Writing once a solution is available, and nothing beyond that.
- Answering whoever writes.
- Knowing which pages are read, to write the next ones better.
The data is not sold, not rented, and not handed to third parties for commercial purposes.
5 Third-party services
Two of those things rest on outside services, which process the data on behalf of Base.Golf:
- EmailOctopus™, which holds the waiting-list addresses and sends the mail.
- Google Analytics™, which produces the browsing statistics and leaves its own cookies in the browser to do so.
Both run servers outside Argentina, so joining the list means that address crosses a border. Each service publishes a privacy policy of its own.
6 Cookies
The site sets no cookies of its own and uses no browser storage to follow anyone. The only ones are Google Analytics™'s, and blocking them in the browser or with an extension leaves the site working.
7 How long it is kept
An email address stays on the list until the person asks to leave. Every message sent from the list carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the address. Correspondence is kept as long as answering it and ordinary business records require. The statistics are aggregate and identify nobody.
8 The rights of the data subject
Anyone may ask for access to their personal data, or for it to be corrected, updated or deleted, by writing to the email address at the end. No reason is required, and it costs nothing.
- Argentine law grants the data subject free access to their data at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest in a shorter interval is shown, under article 14, paragraph 3 of Law 25.326.
- The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, the authority supervising Law 25.326, hears complaints from anyone whose rights are affected by a breach of the data protection rules in force.
9 Minors
The site addresses clubs, associations, tournament organizers, and the people who work with them. It is not meant for minors and asks them for nothing.
10 Changes
If this policy changes, the date in the header changes with it. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
